KURT JOHNSON
Kurt Johnson is Director of the Green Power Partnership, an EPA voluntary program working to standardize green power procurement as part of best-practice environmental management. Prior to joining EPA's Climate Protection Partnerships Division in the Fall of 2000 to lead development of new EPA renewable energy efforts, Kurt worked as a climate change analyst in EPA's Policy Office. Prior to joining EPA in early 1995, Kurt worked as a Legislative Assistant on Capitol Hill for U.S. Representative Dick Swett (D-NH) focused on energy and environmental policy. Kurt holds a M.S. in Environmental Sciences from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. and M.A. from Stanford University.
